It’s time for What I Wore Sunday
Every week we attempt to pick the mass time with the best possibility of Henry being rested, full, and content, and many weeks we just fail. This week we failed spectacularly. He was crying so hard by the homily (throwing himself at us, the hard floor, the pew, etc, and still crying even after I left the sanctuary with him for awhile) that we just had to leave….and then he was out cold in his car seat not hardly 5 minutes into the drive home. Sigh. Fail.
Anyways, the good news is that we still were able to hear the readings before he had the meltdown, which was nice, and we have plans for a good old Reconcilliation during this week.
I much prefer this dress without the cardigan, as it flatters really well on its own as a simple summer dress, but alas it’s Mass and I prefer not to be sleeveless. This pair of heels I swear are the most comfortable I’ve ever found to this date. I only wish I could have a pair in a few different colors and patters and I’d be set!
We had a quiet week with posts, I know, but you’ll definitely want to check out the fun conclusion to Emily’s series on her recent wedding (lots of pictures!) and send some encouragement over Mary’s way.
I haven’t personally posted other than WIWS for awhile but I’ll be back with an outfit post tomorrow. We also are starting a new series on thrifting, so if you love to thrift and want to fill out a form to be featured, please contact us! We are also looking for guest posts in the subject of body image if you have something you would like to share.
Hope you are having a beautiful Sunday. The linkup as always is open until Wednesday morning at 10am EST to allow for everyone to post without neglecting family duties No rush!
