What I Wore Sunday: Volume 66
Happy Sunday everyone!
We had Sarah’s post with the “Get Dressed Challenge“. Did any of you participate? You still can! Check out the post and leave a comment if you’re interested in trying it out!
Kendra had her second baby yesterday! Ivan Michael was born around 3 P.M. Send her a tweet to congratulate her I can’t wait to meet him in a few weeks!
We are very lucky to have a new writer joining us and hosting WIWS this weekend! Welcome Holly! She’s in the process of converting to Catholicism (and I can totally relate!) and you can also find her at her blog, Styled Grace. We’re so lucky to have her as a contributing writer for Fine Linen and Purple!
Hi! My name is Holly and I’m so excited to be a part of the Fine Linen and Purple Team! These ladies have been inspiring me ever since I found them via the Team Whitaker blog (if you have time head over and pay Kathryn a visit – she’s fantastic!)
A little about me – I’m a wife, a momma to two boys, and a photographer. My husband and I are currently in the process of converting to the Catholic faith and you can follow those adventures at my personal blog – www.styledgrace.com. You never know what you’ll read over there – it’s a documentation of how my brain works, and that can be kind of hard to follow sometimes. 😉
As far back as I can remember I’ve always loved clothes. Currently however, I’m pretty busy the majority of the time and don’t always have time to put a lot of thought into what I wear. To combat that I have several favorites that I mix and match when I have photo sessions, meetings, or anything that makes me leave the comfort of my house and my yoga pants. That means that there are quite a few items in my closet that simply get neglected due to lack of time/interest. When I started following Fine Linen and Purple, I was determined to make use of those items, and pay more attention to what I wore to church. It is the House of God after all right? If we dress up for work meetings and such, we should be able to take time to look nice for God.
On to the outfit!
-Pants: AB Studio
-Cami – Gordman’s (I listed this because if you have a Gordman’s near you, you should really try out their cami’s!)
-Purple shirt – I’ve had this for AWHILE! I can’t tell the brand anymore but most clothing stores have them!)
-Cardigan – George. I picked it up at Wal-Mart on a whim once and I wear that sucker all the time!
-Necklace – It’s hard to see here but it’s a crucifix necklace. I actually posted about this particular necklace on the Blog!
-Bracelet – A gift from my mom, handmade by a local lady.
– Shoes – I don’t even know! I’ve had these things for years!
Thanks for stopping in for my first day of hosting WIWS! I’m so excited to get to know all of you, and can’t wait to see your outfits! Link it up!!
